Workflow Architecture

Workflow Architecture focuses on the intentional design of how work moves across people, teams, systems, and tools. Articles in this section explore how workflows are structured, coordinated, and optimized to reduce friction and improve outcomes at scale. This includes concepts such as dependencies, ownership, orchestration, and workflow performance indicators. These practices are part of the Work Management Body of Knowledge (WMBOK™), maintained by the Work Management Institute.
